FA Hayek wrote in Road Serfdom about the Left's disingenuous claims that it just wants to move past economic quarrels and focus on people and hugging trees, etc. Liberals and progressives think of nothing BUT economics (most notably, other peoples' money they feel they have intrinsic claim to or power over).

Conservatives and libertarians MUST start doing a better job of explaining and defending and promoting (tirelessly, I might add) the free market system and the inextricable links between religious, political and economics freedom.

You gotta check out this article on that very topic: http://rjmoeller.com/2010/02/the-economics-of-mere-conservatism-part-i/

You smell a "fox"; I smell a lame duck.

ACORN can threaten to sue the journalists and Fox News all they want. However, that dog won't hunt. The Radke Gang don't have a case, and hopefully some ACORN operatives will be going to jail.

The question is just screaming to be posed: How many ACORN locations did these "investigators" (Inquisitors?) have to infiltrate before they were able to implicate three corrupt officials?

Has anyone bothered to ask that question?

I smell a rat. Better still, I smell a FOX.

You're right on the money. I wrote about this yesterday, also.

I'm so angry about our forgetfulness and cowardice as a nation, it makes me physically sick. I can't believe so many of my fellow countrymen & women have grown up with such a lack of principle & resolve. I damn all the parents who raise their children to embrace rather than defeat our enemies, because the rest of us will surely receive a knife in our backs due to their actions.

Well, my friend, I haven't forgotten.

I think the problem started a week after 9/11 when the dust settled and we all were tripping over ourselves to to not look like bigots by saying "Oh, no... it's not ALL Muslims, just the extremists that are the problem." and every Borders and Barnes Noble had their windows filled with books on understanding Islam. That was the beginning and it incrementally got worse because we let it in the name of tolerance.

Well here's the truth: Moderate Muslims ARE the problem as much, if not more than the Islamo-Fascists.

Lately, Conservatives have been tossing around the famous quote by Edmund Burke, "All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing." Well, this applies to Moderate Muslims as well who make up make up the vast majority of the Muslim population yet have remained SILENT for the last 8 years.

Sorry, but I'm done giving Muslims a free pass, Moderate or otherwise. They're ALL accountable in one way or another.

You haven't forgotten, nor have I, nor have many millions of Americans. Even the Left hasn't forgotten, or they wouldn't continue working so hard to cover it up and change it's meaning.

So, we have work to do to make sure the Left isn't successful. Let's roll.
