Due to real estate transactions and other situations demanding all of my time and attention, I have to put the blog on the back burner for a while.

It’s Been A Busy Weekend…

No blogging took place due to a weekend visit from my younger brother and his two sons. Also, the house showings for potential buyers just kept coming all day yesterday.

I’ll should have some items posted later this afternoon.

I’ve just listed my condo for sale, so I’ll be busy spending the weekend cleaning up and making the place presentation-ready. Posting will be light until Monday.

Temporarily Offline

No entries today, due to a major power outage in my neighborhood. More tomorrow (or when power is restored, whichever comes first).

Under Construction

I’m applying a new WP template to the blog. More bells and whistles (and yes, posts) to come.

DIY Upgrades, etc.

I’m alive and well, folks. Work and other projects have kept me away from the keyboard for a while. Along with tackling some home repair items, I managed to upgrade the blog engine to WordPress 1.5. So far, I’m quite impressed with the improvements.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be hiring someone else to redesign the blog to a better format — so I can do less tinkering and more posting. Stay tuned.

Pardon Our Dust

Lack of attention on my part while upgrading WordPress caused the hosing of the usual blog template. All of the entries survived.

I guess it’s time for me to call the professionals and get the blog “pimped”.

I don’t know what I did wrong, but I managed to screw up the WordPress installation here. I plan to get things back to normal as soon as possible.

Update: Thanks to Ben Yarbrough, I managed to re-install WordPress. All of the blog entries are here, but most of the comments are history (due to a database glitch, and not of my own doing).

Update (10/4/04): Comments are fixed; cosmetic fixes are still in the works as time permits…
