Obama Wins

Although I strongly disagree with his ideological views, I admit that tonight is a proud and historic moment for America as a whole and for all Americans of African descent.

Congratulations to President-Elect Barack H. Obama.

America has spoken, and as an American, I respect the vote of the majority.

Update: Obama’s victory address

  1. It may be a good thing if it calms down the moonbats for a change. It also sends a message to the world who thought we were racist haters, that yes, we are fair minded people.

But, as for Obama, he is now going to have to do the impossible, live up to his hype. And we all know what the media does to people when it builds them up so high. There is only one direction you can go when you reach the top.

  2. D.C., I’m terrifically afraid of policies that President-elect Obama may try to institute, in concert with the congressional Dems. But – I, too, applaud this moment in history. No longer will anyone be able to say “the most important job in the world isn’t open to a person of African-American extraction”. That is no longer true.

I hope that Obama proves my fears to be unfounded :)
