State of the State

Gov. Jim Gibbons faced Nevada legislators earlier this evening and laid out his biennial budget proposal. Most of the proposals appear to be sensible; the next step, though, is to see which items will get through the Democrat-heavy state assembly and the slim-Republican-majority state senate.
