I agree that U.S. (an many other) Western justice systems became a laughing stock of Jihadis. However, we know that Mark Steyn tends to oversimplify from time to time. I dare say that he does not offer an alternative, unless one considers a quick bullet to the suspect's brain to be a solution. That the above mentioned justice system needs a serious overhaul could hardly be argued, but still it could not be bypassed. Unless we all agree to become a mirror image of the Jihadis.
