The Thugs of San Francisco

July 11th, 2005

Will Franklin has the details on yesterday’s G8 protests in SF for Wizbang.

A quote from a reader comment for the above link sums it up: “These anarchists/anti-capitalists are such borderline-domestic-terrorist a**holes. [They] have no respect for anything or anyone. They offer no solutions to any of their perceived ‘problems.’ All they know how to do is break things and hurt people.”

As usual, Michelle Malkin doesn’t get the story right. Indymedia wasn’t boasting of the officer’s injury. It was showing what occurred on the street when it happened. Thanks to the photographer, the public seems to have an accurate record of the officer’s injuries. The officer’s injuries are obviously unfortunate, but as is usually the case with these protests, inaccuracies and downright LIES are spread by the Right. I didn’t see Malkin write about the allegations that the police may have turned on a bystander who was trying to help the downed officer.

“As usual, Michelle Malkin doesn’t get the story right.”

And you’re complaining here about it? Are you afraid of Malkin?

Having viewed several video accounts and reviewing the comments cheering on the cop beating PRIOR to the Indymaniacs performing a whitewash on their servers, I’m inclined to think that the inaccuracies and downright lies are being spread by the anarchist, anti-American, fringe Left that make up the bastion of hate that is the IMC.

I’m not at all afraid of Malkin. However, I call out problems with reporting when I see it.

Then go call out the alleged “reporting problems” over at her website. She has e-mail.

I did. You posted it, so I took up the matter with you.

Rob, I’ll post whatever I want here. If you don’t like it, tough.
