Newsweek Lied, People Died

Once again the mainstream media sends its credibility down the crapper.

A retraction isn’t good enough. Heads at Newsweek should roll (figuratively speaking). In a rush to denigrate the Bush administration and fuel the fires of opposition to the war on terror, they only made matters ten times more worse.

Islamists won’t be pacified by mealy-mouthed apologies. They’re out for blood — and may the blood spilled in Afghanistan (and heaven forbid any more blood) be on the hands of Newsweek.

They need to give up the name of the administration source.

I have a couple of posts on this on my blog. Seems there are those that are trying to put forth the conpsiracy theory that Newsweek was set up. Then there is the Karl Rove tin foil hat nonsense.

Isikoff kept Lewinsky spiked for one year, but THIS had roll with such puny substantiation. Bias? No bias there. Nothing to see. Move along.

I didn’t know Isikoff kept the Lewinski story spiked for that long. Thank God for D.C. and the rest of the blogs that keep us updated a hell of a lot sooner. Bad news for Newsweek!
