Cingularâ??s rollover minutes is a good market strategy

Ahmmm, yes. BUT, if you have a bunch of minutes left at the end of the month, then maybe you should consider that Cingular is charging you for a bunch of extra minutes when they should be advising you to go on a lower minute plan?!?! Cingular make a fortune off rollover.

Verizon calls their customer if they see that that customer is not using a bulk of their minutes.

Finally, your link about the problems with the V710 has mostly been updated to say he was wrong.

If you go to Cingular or AT&T, you'll get little of the coperage and service you're getting with Verizon Wireless. Just go to J.D. Power or Consumer Reports. Verizon Wireless beats the rest by a large margin.

And Tavares? Don't even get me started on Sprint!! :-)

Angry Verizon Customer
Darmon Thornton is really mad at Verizon.

I honestly can't say I blame him, and I don't even care about Bluetooth.

Well, it looks like I'll be keeping my T-Mobile account then. So far, I haven't had any major problems with reception, except when indoors.

Verizon may have better coverage, but it doen't mean squat if I can't use all the features on their crippled Bluetooth phone. Unless they decide to unlock BT features for PDAs and other devices, I'll have no other choice but to vote with my wallet.

Oh yea, before you go signing a new contract for two years, you might want to wait until the 1xEV-DO phones come out, this will support data rates up to 2.4 Mbps. I hear it should be available by the end of this year. All the current phones now are 1xRTT, which supports up to 144 Kbps.

Cingular's rollover minutes is a good market strategy. I guess they have to do something that makes up in coverage. My number one priority is quality, followed by everything else. What about sprint? The have some really cool phones.
