We Americans are a resilient bunch. You can mock us, curse us, and spit on us all you want. It only becomes fuel for our resolve, and makes us stronger — giving us the ability to succeed in spite of you and achieve great things, like beating cancer and winning the Tour de France six years in a row.
Congratulations, Lance! The haters may have their venom, but you have won the victory.
I think Lance Armstrong is more suited to be a role model than many of the other professional athletes. He sure gives everything his all.
